I know the angels aren't ANGELS, as we usually understand them, but the idea of these creatures stealing voices and stopping song, when angels are usually associated with worship and singing... That's a really, really cool juxtaposition. The creatures called messengers are stopping any messages from going through.
The line about "they feared what it could become" and their utter fixation on the tower and destroying it... I really would love to see Pellig's take on all this, actually.
Amazing that in this relatively short episode you have conjured the existence of a whole new motivation for survival, giving purpose to the mystery and obsessed need voiced by Lula...no not crazy!
