My wife, definitely; she's my story editor (she's an English major and working on a doctorate in English lit., so she's the best), I bounce ideas off her, she suggests ideas herself (I've got a draft of a pirate novel where she came up with the name: Bonnieditch Crumpleshnort), and she's just super.
It's just such a delightful and whimsical inside joke that the whole world is a part of.
I'm sure you have, but have you seen the penguin video where he's on Graham Norton and CANNOT say the word penguin? It takes every ounce of self-control in my body to not call them pingwings in front of my toddler who would absolutely not know that I was joking and would grow up thinking they're called pingwings.
Anyone else skip the excerpt from Ivy and Ixos so that your Friday reading experience is brand-new? Have I already asked this before? The sleep deprivation is getting to me (((((:
Thanks for dragging us into that clearing, hosting us up and leaving us flapping between tease and terror...you wouldn't dare really risk Ivy, would you?
I kind of wish you hadn't asked that question. Made me examine my life's course, which I conclude has been mostly let it ride... too often. But without a doubt, my wife's support was absolutely unshakable when I needed it!
If by some strange chance, you haven't read "Ivy and Ixos," for the love of your cat, start and part one and catch up. You won't be disappointed. I promise you that you'll like it.
I'm counting down the milliseconds until the next part.

Love this! (Also that name is FANTASTIC.)
If Benedryl Cucumberpatch doesn't play that character in the live-action film of your book, I quit. XD
I LIVE for the various ways people have figured out how to spell this man's name! It never gets old!! 😂

Alex and I CONSISTENTLY call them "pingwings" for that very reason. It's a compulsion now. 😅
That video is hilarious! And then he voiced a character in the Penguins of Madagascar and I'm pretty sure he said it the same way! :D
Are you friends with Mark Starlin?
He'd love that name for sure. 😆
If not, I obviously should be. :)

One person who has supported me and my dreams and passions is my writing bud @KimBoo York of House of York.

My main support and constant companion is S.E. Reid of course!
