Thank you for the mention for Write Club. I've got messages out to Write Club to cross-promote it.

It’s the season of reading, for sure. I just finished Jamie Ford’s excellent The Many Daughters of Afong Moy. Before that, I read Ann Patchett’s Whistler, Lauren Geoff’s incredible short story collection, Brawler, and several other great ones.

This is brilliant! I didn’t know about Talestack News until you mentioned it on one of your streams with Simon. Must look into some of these! 😃

Thank you so much for the mention of my upcoming publication!! I really appreciate it. I’ve been following you and reading your Talestack stuff for a long time—maybe starting on Twitter a few years ago?

Hello there! I’m currently working my way through Brian McClellans Powder Mage trilogy. It’s a fun read and he has some interesting characters in it. After this, I’ll probably read something scary, Stephen King or Joe Hill maybe. This September I start my Lord of the Rings reread (36th time!)

I've craved some swashbuckling stories, so I've been reading Rafael Sabatini: *Scaramouche* and *Captain Blood.* I've also just finished listening to James Patterson's *Along Came a Spider.* With that finished, I'm on to *The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion.* I'm on Vol. 2.

Appreciate all the work you do for this. I'm currently reading The House of the Wolfings which is an old novel that was an inspiration for Tolkien.

I’ve been reading Pilgrim at Tinker Creek very slowly. I seem to get caught on a sentence every page or so that takes a few days to appreciate. It may seem a pointless book to some, but Annie Dillard has become a favorite.
