Uhm, Albert Finney's Scrooge! Hands down. And there's something...different about Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol.
But, I will say George C. Scott does deserve a top 3 vote, for sure.
And because I've got Rod Serling on the brain lately, why not throw in Carol for Another Christmas! Now that I think of it, there are A LOT of Dicken's versions aren't there...
Scrooged is a fun one. Then again, anything with Bill Murray in is. We usually watch Trading Places at this time of year. Mind you that was Dan Aykroyd. Must be Ghostbusters on the brain.

If I was feeling adventurous I would force myself to marathon as many adaptations as I can find and then rank them.
....I won't do this. But it would be a trip, that's for sure. 😂
Nope! You have not given me a challenge or an idea! Nope! I won’t. Get away from me, woman! Stop teasing me with your wicked Christmas suggestions!
AAAAHHHH!💨

I loved Patrick Stewart's take on it, for sure.
George C Scott is good--but it's hard to top the Muppets. Or Patrick Stewart. Or Albert Finney.
Good idea for a bit of rest and self-care. I'm doing the same until the new year. Have a lovely midwinter!
Ooh - that's a controversial Xmas Carol choice that one. Still, at least you didn't go for the effing muppets lol!
Hope you have a good rest and a chance to recharge your creative batteries during your hiatus!
Thank you, friend! 🙏
