A quick announcement; I promise I’ll make it brief!
First of all, I want to thank you all SO MUCH for your love and support on my ebook publication of The Orchard Hounds!! It has been such a joy to see it arriving on your e-readers and devices, soaking up your sweet early reviews, and reading your supportive messages and restacks.
You are the best readership on Substack. It’s scientifically proven!
And now, to business…
In the spirit of Fall admin, I’ve been turning my attention to the much-ballyhooed Fall/Winter Merch Drop, and we’re coming down to our finalized designs—hooray!
To keep things tidy, you’re going to see some things shuffled around in the Ferris Island Gift Shop in the coming days…
First, I will be adding two designs which will act as year-round constants in the shop: a Talebones Logo design, and the redesigned Souvenir Ferris Island design. These will be available for purchase at any point as our “flagship” products.
On the other hand, to make room for the seasonal Fall and Winter designs, I will be clearing out the Market Collection from this past summer: the Ferris Island Ecological Society, Seavend General Store, and Port Salish Farmer’s Market.
If you’ve been eyeing one of those products and biding your time, now is a good time to pounce: those designs will be unlisted from the shop on Monday the 14th, so act fast!

Can’t snag a Summer design before Monday? Don’t worry! Those designs—especially the fan-favorites—will likely make a reappearance at some point next Spring/Summer!
