Growing up along the Gulf Coast, there are four seasons. Summer, summer, summer and SUMMER. Southern Louisiana is a semi tropical climate. Leaves on trees either stay green or just die. There's no inbetween. Since moving to Chicago 23(!!!!!) years ago, fall has become my favorite time of year. It's like overnight and BAM! A burst of oranges, yellows, reds all over the place. The air is crisp.
Are you considering releasing Ivy and Ixos on, say, Amazon? The story is so endearing and magical. It could be marketed to adults and children alike, because I don't know a single person who wouldn't enjoy it.
And I'm looking forward to fall! It feels like September here today, and while I'm missing my warm August, it'll be nice to sit outside with a cup of coffee and a hoodie.
Very kind of you, Olivia, and thank you for asking! Yes, when the story is fully done I'll be putting it into the Archive so I can spend some time revising and polishing for self-publication. Still working out details, but my hope is to make Ivy's story available before the end of the year for those who want to purchase! Stand by. ♥️
I am an autumnal creature, so I am looking forward to the season shift here; I long for the days when the spicy warmth of a chai latte takes the edge off of cooling weather.
That said, I also have a September 1st deadline that might well strangle me, so I definitely don't want to hurry forward _too_ fast. 😂
Normally, I don't mind autumn coming, but I spent some time down in Mississippi due to a family death this summer and that heat just ruins your enjoyment of summer. It's nice and sunny out, but so hot and humid that you can't go outside and enjoy it without risking heat stroke. I feel like I missed summer this year. =(
Right off the bat, yes I am looking forward to putting summer behind. Can't happen fast enough! This summers Texas has been more brutal than anything remotely called normal!
I have enjoyed the summer with you and Talebones very much. Excited to find out what is coming next. More Ferris Island I hope for sure!

I'm so sorry, Patricia! I hope the season changing is much kinder to you and your family. ♥️
