No questions but I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for writing such a wonderful series 🥰 I’ve said it before and I feel it is worth saying again, you truly have a gift with words and I along with many others, am grateful that you chose to share your writing here on Substack with all of us ❤️

Where did the name Ixos come from, and is it related to Erin's name in any way?

Thats explained in one of the chapters! It's the latin name of the bird or something. It's around the time Mrs. Hatch is introduced.

Don't worry, Michael, there's one more little tidbit about Ixos's name I can share on Friday. 😁

I'm looking forward to the finale. This has been a delightful read. I'm curious if you wrote all 12 installments before starting to share them or were you writing as you went? Sorry if you've already answered this somewhere.

What inspired this story? Is there a real-life Ivy, or is it just a diabolical way to mess with Scoot’s plant classifications? 😊

I have had a great summer of reading and thinking thanks to you and other substacks that I found as a result of Talebones! Looking forward to autumn with great expectations!

Your consistency is amazing. Very inspiring. Enjoy a well-earned (short) break and looking forward to reading more in the Autumn

Birdmint isn't a real plant according to google. What IS it??? PLEASE. I went all in on that being the core mystery and it kinda wasn't! What plant is it?
