The bulk of our fiction is set on a haunted island in Washington State, called Ferris Island. To see all of the Ferris Island stories synopsized and grouped by length, head to the Ferris Island Index.
Occasionally, we do travel off-island with our tales! To see these stories, go to the Off-Island Index.

Livestreams & Interviews
Cozy Coffee Chat - My first livestream, testing out the feature with a short, cozy little chat. I talked about possible future uses for livestreaming on Talebones, some updates on Fall Season stuff, did a little desk tour, and geeked out about my MANY decks of story prompt cards (I have a problem).
Cozy Christmas Read-Aloud - An hour-ish Christmas Eve stream featuring story reading, a bit of inevitable dog-chaos, and discussions about Christmas nostalgia (including the finer points of green bean casserole!).
Office Bookshelf Tour - Inspired by a trend started by the wonderful Shaina Read
and John Ward, in this stream I share the books on my office shelves!
2x2 Interview with Ann Kimbrough - Two writers, two questions each! We covered topics such as how to structure your Substack, how being “on-location” figures into fiction research, some of our influences, advice to new writers, and so much more.
Top In Fiction Interview with Erica Drayton - In which we discuss the release of my novella Ivy & Ixos, as well as take a bit of a deep dive into Ferris Island, writing process, and more.
